Healthy Back Collection
This ‘Healthy back collection’ is a series of classes thoughtfully created to help you maintain back strength and flexibility. The practices combine Yoga, Qigong, and Myofascial release which aims to effectively help reduce back pain (especially lower back), discomfort and build strength. With regular practice, these classes will help improve your back health.
NOTE: If you experience any pain, please modify, rest, or skip the poses/movement. Apart from the benefits of regular practice, there are many things to be mindful of that may aggravate your back, including habitual posture, activities that you do, and how you do them.
Do you know your postural habits and environment factors can effect your posture, thoughts, emotions and brain chemistry? This is intimately connected to your physical, mental and emotional health. This unique class will target your sensory nerves by breaking your bad postural habit to realign your fascial webbing for neurological health.
Need a big side body yawn? This is your go-to practice if you sit all day long and feel compression in your lower back or you need to expand your lungs efficiency to take in an extra deep breath. Whatever the reason, you can't go wrong with this side body releasing practice!
When you feel tight or stiff in the muscles, it's most probably your fascia that needs hydration for slide and glide. This fascia focused practice will start with a short meditation to bring your awareness to the fascia webbing followed by a dynamic practice to mobilise the front line, back line, side line and spiral line to restore your fascial health.
