The Sacred Pause
A day retreat of Qigong, sound and meditation
Come together for a special day of rest, connection and renewal — an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, reconnect with your inner stillness and restore your energy.
As the year draws to a close, it’s easy to become caught up in the activity and expectations of the festive season, often overlooking the precious time we need for self‑care and our own wellbeing. These final months can leave us feeling scattered, stressed or depleted as we move through a seemingly endless stream of commitments. The Sacred Pause offers a gentle invitation to slow down, reconnect and create spaciousness within yourself.
In Chinese medicine, summer is associated with the Fire element and the qualities of the heart, joy and vitality. The heart is regarded as the home of the Shen, or spirit, and when balanced, it supports emotional harmony, clarity and restful sleep.
In this retreat, we will explore practices designed to settle the mind, balance the emotions, restore the flow of energy and nourish both body and mind — all within a welcoming and supportive space.
The retreat weaves together Qigong, sound healing and meditation, giving you time to ground, re‑centre and experience much‑needed rest from the pace of daily life. Across the sessions, you will be guided through a variety of Qigong and meditation styles that support the heart and Fire element, accompanied by the healing sounds of the didgeridoo and crystal singing bowls.
A nourishing lunch and refreshments are included, along with opportunities to connect with like‑minded people and share the experience in community.
Give yourself permission to pause, reconnect and restore before stepping into the new year.
