Day 14 Yang Sheng
Although this is the same practice as day 7, but your experience is going to be different and each time we repeat a practice, we embody it more deeply until it becomes an expression of who we are.
Six Healing Sound is to support the body in preparing for deep, restorative sleep by nourishing every organ system, regulate emotions, replenish Qi, and strengthen its life force.
Liu Qi Fa, the Six Healing Sounds, is one of the oldest Daoist healing practices, dating back to the 4th century AD. It blends posture, breath, intention, sound vibration and inner light to harmonise the organs, clear stagnant frequencies and transform stored emotional residue. Each sound acts like a tuning fork for the body, gently releasing excess heat, tension and emotional charge so the organs can return to balance.
Practicing the Six Healing Sounds before bed is especially powerful. It clears the energy you’ve absorbed throughout the day, settles the nervous system and prepares the organs for deep rest and repair. This simple ritual becomes a profound Yang Sheng practice — helping you soften, unwind and enter sleep with clarity, spaciousness and emotional ease.
