Qi is one of the three treasures in Chinese Medical Qigong, a special energy stored in the middle dantian. It is our life giving force that is connected with the lungs and spleen, the air element which controls the breath and blood. We take in Qi from air through the lungs and the food we eat through the spleen. This Qigong practice focus on opening the lungs to build energy to support, circulate, repair and renew cells to nourish and protect the body. Qi moves blood so it can flow through the organs to provide strong surface immunity and vibrancy. When Qi is strong, Shen can shine bright.
