When we sleep, our wei Qi (defensive energy) move from exterior to interior, where blood circulate into the organs to do repair work. Any stagnation in the transport of wei Qi will affect sleep. Body sleep to regenerate and interrupted or shallow sleep can disrupt the process of healing. This gentle nighttime practice will clear wei Qi, soothe out the Qi field with self-massage to help unwind to sleep.
