The second of the five animal frolics is deer, an ancient medical Qigong healing practice that invoke the energy of deer that is elegant, serene, gentle, soft and graceful. When we imitate the movement, action, characteristic and spirit of the deer, it circulate energy to the kidney and help balance the water element for winter season. When you are stress, fatigue, fearful, have problems with the ears or weak bones, the deer practice will help harmonise the Qi and transform fear to calm. The yin poses at the end of the practice settles the Qi and help to regulate energy in the bladder and kidney meridians.
